I acknowledge and agree that as a student of RMS Institute of Management and Science, I am expected to act as a responsible citizen and a member of an academic community that values discipline, respect, and personal integrity.
I undertake to fully abide by the Student Code of Conduct, all college rules and regulations, and any official notifications issued by the administration.
I accept that English is the medium of communication on campus, and I will comply with this policy at all times.
I will maintain decorum and discipline both inside and outside the college campus. Misconduct or actions detrimental to college order may result in expulsion.
ANTI-RAGGING AND SAFETY POLICIES
I understand that ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disciplinary action, including possible expulsion.
I am aware that the Anti-Ragging Committee monitors all related issues, and its details are available on the college website and notice board.
I will not engage in or tolerate any behavior involving smoking, chewing tobacco, intoxicants, or drug use. I accept that any violation will invite severe punishment or dismissal.
Cell phone usage inside college buildings is allowed only with prior permission.
I will not bring outsiders into the campus without approval from the authorities.
VEHICLE AND CAMPUS CONDUCT
I will carry all necessary documents related to my vehicle.
I understand that helmets are mandatory for riders and pillion riders entering campus on two-wheelers.
I will collect a valid vehicle entry pass (sticker) from the office.
Over-speeding or violating traffic rules within the campus is punishable.
I will maintain complete silence during class hours and will not loiter in the corridors.
DRESS CODE
I agree to follow the dress code and grooming standards laid down by the college:
Formal attire on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for UG students.
On Wednesday to Saturday, decent informal attire is permitted.
Uniform suits must be worn on designated occasions.
Inappropriate clothing, body piercing, tattoos, and unconventional hair coloring are prohibited.
ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE
I commit to maintaining a minimum of 75% attendance in all subjects to be eligible for examinations.
I will submit a duly filled leave form signed by my parent/guardian in case of absence and understand that failure to do so may affect my attendance record.
I will notify the college of any medical leave with valid documentation and submit it to the appropriate office within the deadline.
I understand that being absent for an entire semester without prior permission may lead to removal from the rolls.
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
I understand the importance of academic honesty and agree not to engage in plagiarism, cheating, unauthorized collaboration, or facilitate academic dishonesty in any form.
All academic submissions made by me will be my original work, and sources will be properly cited.
FEE REGULATIONS
I am responsible for the timely payment of fees, and I will ensure all payments reflect in the college ERP system (EDUMERGE).
In case of any discrepancies in fee payment status, I will contact the fee counter within 3 working days.
CERTIFICATES AND DOCUMENTATION
I will follow due procedures and provide necessary documentation for:
Provisional Certificates
Transfer Certificates (T.C.)
Duplicate Certificates (in case of loss with valid police documents)
